Return & Exchange Policy

We are happy to offer returns and exchanges under certain conditions. Please review our Return & Exchange Policy carefully before initiating a request. If your request meets our policy criteria, we will be pleased to assist you.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Returns or exchanges are accepted only within 5 days of receiving the product.

  • The product must be in the same condition as it was shipped.

  • Items purchased on sale or at a discount are not eligible for return or exchange.

  • A valid reason must be provided for any return or exchange request.

  • Products purchased through pop-ups or studio trials are not eligible for return or exchange.

  • Products that have been colored, chemically treated, or damaged due to styling post-purchase will not be accepted.

  • Customized products are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances.


Return Process

1. Initiate Return
Send us an email with your order id with return reasons and along with the 2 images of your product at contact@strands.co.in, select the product you wish to return, provide the reason, and attach a clear image.

2. Approval
Our team will review your request. If eligible, the return will be approved and a reverse pickup will be arranged.

3. Quality Check (QC)
Once the product reaches us, it will undergo a QC process. If approved, store credit will be issued.

Note: Store credit will be issued after a deduction of INR 200.


Important Instructions

  • The product must be returned in its original condition, unused and unaltered.

  • We cannot accept returns for products that have been washed, cut, colored, chemically treated, or brushed (for curly or wavy hair).

  • Please record a video of the unboxing before breaking the courier seal to document any physical damage or missing items.

  • Returns or exchanges for damaged or defective products require valid video evidence.

  • Ensure your order number and contact number are clearly mentioned on the return package.

  • A logistics fee of INR 200 will be deducted from all returns or exchanges to cover handling and packaging costs.


Refund & Store Credit

  • All refunds are provided only as store credit.

  • Store credit (after Rs. 200 deduction) can be used for future purchases or gifting.

  • Store credit will be sent via email.


Please Note

During festivals, sales, adverse weather conditions (such as rains), natural calamities, political crises, or curfews, shipments may be delayed. While we strive to deliver your order at the earliest, such delays will not be considered valid reasons for cancellation or refund.
